The MedApps Remote Health Monitoring Solution begins with HealthPAL.
HealthPAL gives individuals an opportunity to play a more active role in their own healthcare while staying effectively connected to their healthcare providers.
HealthPAL offers a convenient way to track daily health readings and forward the information to clinicians for monitoring and review.
HealthPAL dependably provides care professionals, treating chronic disease patients, with valuable and timely biometric data. This ability can help to improve patient compliance and stabilize patient conditions, which in turn drives down related care costs, is currently FDA-cleared for use with glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, scales and pulse oximeters.
HealthPAL uses a combination of embedded cellular and Bluetooth technologies to automatically transmit readings from compatible monitors to a secure central server. Readings can be tracked by individuals through an electronic health record (EHR) or online medical records service such as Microsoft HealthVault or Google Health. Healthcare providers can review patient data via enterprise level EHR or by accessing HealthCOM, MedApps' full-featured, web-based patient management portal for care professionals.
HealthPAL provides a hands-off telehealth solution that is easy to operate for users of all ages and technological skill levels. HealthPAL's data transmissions are completely automated and the user is not required to push buttons, or navigate screen menus in order to forward readings. HealthPAL's compact size and portability makes it ideal to take on the road, to school, to work - anywhere the user needs to be.
As additional regulatory clearances are received, MedApps looks forward to expanding its capabilities to include the recording and transmitting of data from INR monitors, ECG, Peak Flow / Spirometers, CPAP and more.
