UA-789PC telemonitoring blood pressure monitor for extra large arms.
This home blood pressure monitor accommodates remote patients with larger-sized arms, up to 23.6 inches (60 cm) in circumference. The device features a high speed motor for a fast and comfortable reading, as well as data transmission via a communication port and cable.
Like the UA-767PC, the UA-789PC supports real-time communication to immediately send measurements to the information hub and batch-mode communication to send up to 280 measurements with time and date in a single request command. A&D Medical adapter cables lend the UA-789PC 9-pin serial port, USB, or Continua Health Alliance USB connectivity.
The UA-789PC is also equipped with Irregular Heartbeat Detection, which provides blood pressure and pulse rate measurements even when an Irregular Heartbeat occurs and includes a flag of the occurrence in measurement data. With an extra large display, large buttons for easy operation, and an included AC power adapter, this blood pressure monitor offers speed, reliability, and convenience to an untapped market segment.
The UA-789PC is a highly cost-effective vehicle for disease management programs, especially those with a prevalence of obesity. System integrators can provide units to remote patients enabling clinical care providers to monitor them at home.
